Hedera helix in history
Hedera helix is a climbing evergreen plant that is native to most of Europe and northern and central Asia. It’s a familiar garden plant to many people, and bears an association with the festivities of Christmas since Roman times. It was also a symbol of fidelity in Ancient Greece, presented to newlyweds.
